Mounted Unit ProgramThis volunteer unit of Burbank Police Officers is committed to providing community support on horseback. While this unit is used primarily for ceremonial occasions you may also see them “riding tall” in Downtown Burbank, at the Starlight Bowl, at special event at schools, or in area parades. This unit is self-supporting so costs related to the horses are the responsibility of the officers who volunteer for the Mounted Unit. Contact the COPS Bureau at (818) 238-3230 for more information.
