Olive Avenue, Burbank, CA 91506 Phone: (818) 729-4590 Ages of Users: K-12th grade Hours and Days of Operation: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Program Description: The Burbank OutReach Center is a state and national model for the seamless and comprehensive provision of "at-risk" youth services and is staffed by a multi-agency of youth services specialists including: Police, BUSD School Safety and OutReach Coordinator and Attendance Specialist, Department of Children and Family Service Social Workers, Probation Deputy, City of Burbank Youth Employment and Resources Program staff, and computer outpost linking youth and families to Employment Program Development Department services. Youth and families served by the OutReach Center Team have immediate access to comprehensive and follow-up services to assist with the transition to academic, occupational and personal success. Mission Statement: Inform the community about unmet needs and assist in establishing necessary support services. Reduce duplication of services and increase efficiency. Monitor youth and family compliance with agency requirements and expectations. Seek adjudication of parents or youth and enforce court orders, probation conditions or other legal requirements when necessary. |
