Adult Sports PROGRAMS

The adult sports program offers men and women an opportunity to participate in organized leagues in a recreational setting.  Registration is accepted on a "team basis" only.  Divisional classifications range from top-flight play to low-level recreational leagues in a variety of sports.  The adult program offers play in basketball, roller hockey, slow-pitch, fast-pitch, and modified fast-pitch softball, and volleyball.

Adult Sports Leagues

The City of Burbank is a member of the Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation (SCMAF).  The mission of SCMAF is to provide and promote sports training and competition in response to and conducted by its members.  The City of Burbank provides opportunities to develop physical fitness and lifelong skills in a variety of team sports for persons of all ages and abilities.  Our philosophy is to instill a positive attitude, good sportsmanship, sound fundamentals, confidence, and high moral standards. The City of Burbank and SCMAF seek to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and participation.

Burbank resident teams receive priority registration.  Players living in Burbank or work in Burbank based companies are considered resident teams.  Rosters containing 100% or 80% Burbank residents must provide proof of residency or employment in the City of Burbank.  Players may only play for one team in each the league.  For example, a player may participate in both co-ed and slow pitch softball, but may not participate in two different co-ed teams.   For more adult sports information or to download League Registration Forms, Schedules, and Standings, Click Here
