The mission of the Burbank Fire Department is to minimize deaths, personal injury, and property damage by reducing the incidence of fire and providing a full service fire department. This includes offering complete fire prevention and disaster preparedness services, as well as highly trained personnel to respond to all types of fires, hazardous material incidents, and urban search and rescue problems. In addition, the Fire Department responds to all calls for emergency medical services, including the transportation of the sick and injured, with fully certified Emergency Medical Technicians and highly skilled licensed Paramedics.
