Appointed by the City Council to serve as the City's chief administrative officer, the City Manager is responsible for setting goals and providing administrative direction for all City departments in full accordance with the policies established by the City Council. The overall department goal is to carry out the policies established by the City Council in an effort to maintain and improve the quality of life in Burbank. The Community Assistance Coordinator is available to help residents navigate the City Hall bureaucracy and resolve specific issues related to municipal services. The Public Information Office is also managed out of the City Manager's office.A Brief Message from the City Manager... I am pleased to welcome you to the City of Burbank's website. Home to three major studios, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., and NBC's West Coast Headquarters, Burbank is known as the "Media Capital of the World." Over the last several years, the city has experienced a significant amount of business growth. Amidst all of this growth, Burbank maintains its small town atmosphere while consistently providing a high level of public services to its residents and businesses.
