California Senior Legislature

SENIOR ADVOCACY: The California Senior Legislature (CSL) was established in 1981 as advocates for senior citizens. It is a nonpartisan, volunteer organization made up of 120 members who are elected by their peers (persons 60 years of age and older) to represent seniors throughout the State. After studying the issues, Senior Legislators seek State lawmakers to author at least 10 of their priority proposals. They then work throughout the year to ensure adoption of these measures. Ed Gonzalez currently represents Burbank's seniors. He can be reached through the Joslyn Adult Center.
