City Council Seeks Applicants
for Vacancy on Senior Citizen Board

Applications are being accepted by the Burbank City Council to fill one vacancy of an unexpired term on the Senior Citizen Board ending June 1, 2006. The Committee meets every fourth Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Joslyn Adult Center Arts and Crafts Room, and is comprised of seven senior citizen members appointed by Council.

Interested individuals can pick up an application at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue. Application forms are also available on the City's Website, www.ci.burbank.ca.us. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is Friday, June 4, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. with the appointment scheduled to be made at the June 15, 2004 Council meeting.

All City Board, Commission, and Committee members serve without compensation (BMC
Section 2-405) and must be electors of and actually reside in the City. No person shall serve
on more than one Board, Commission or Committee at the same time.
