On January 6, 2006 , at approximately 8:34 hours, a Metrolink train collided with a Toyota at the intersection of Buena Vista and San Fernando in the city of Burbank .  That collision resulted in the death of the sole occupant of the Toyota .

At the time of the collision, the name of the deceased was not released pending notification of next of kin.  The deceased in this case has been identified as Maureen B. Osborn, female76 of Glendale .

This incident is still under investigation, and the Burbank Police Department encourages anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the Traffic Bureau at (818) 238-3100.
