March is Plant-a-Tree Month

The Burbank Civic Pride Committee invites citizens, organizations, and businesses to participate in Burbank's 50th anniversary of "Plant-a-Tree" Month.  Your generous contributions will go toward raising funds to purchase new trees to be planted in the city. 

Donor certificates will be awarded at the Plant-a-Tree ceremony which will be held Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at McCambridge Park, 1515 N. Glenoaks Blvd.  Donations must be submitted by March 18 to be listed in the program.  

"The Civic Pride Committee is proud to head up this project which helps keep our community green," said Ellie Myer, chairman of the 10-member City Council-appointed Civic Pride Committee, working in conjunction with the Park, Recreation and Community Services Department.

Contributions may be made payable to the City of Burbank and sent to the Plant-a-Tree Program, c/o Burbank Civic Pride Committee, City Hall, 275 E. Olive Avenue, Burbank, CA 91502.
