Burbank City Council Seeks Applicants for Vacancy
on Youth Endowment Services (YES) Fund Committee

Applications are being accepted through June 13, 2003 by the Burbank City Council for one vacancy of an unexpired term on the Youth Endowment Services (YES) Fund Advisory Committee, ending on June 1, 2005. The Committee has five members who meet on call.

The purpose of the Committee is to provide, encourage and support activities that benefit Burbank youth.

Interested persons can pick up an application at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue. Application forms are also available on the City’s Web Site, www.ci.burbank.ca.us. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is Friday, June 13, 2003, at 5:00 pm. with the appointment scheduled to be made at the June 24, 2003 Council meeting.

As with most City Boards, Commissions, and Committees, YES Fund Advisory Committee members serve without compensation (BMC Section 2-405) and must be electors of and actually reside in the City. No person shall serve on more than one Board, Commission or Committee at the same time.
