Burbank City Council Seeks Applicants for MWD Director Vacancy
Applications are being accepted through October 30, 2001 by the Burbank City Council for one vacancy of an unexpired term for the Director of the Metropolitan Water District, ending on January 1, 2003.
As one of the 27 agency members of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Burbank has one Director appointed by the City Council for a four year term. The Board meets every second Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the District’s Headquarters in Los Angeles.
Interested persons can pick up an application at the City Clerk’s Office in Burbank City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is October 30, 2001, with the appointment scheduled to be made at the November 6, 2001 City Council meeting.
All City Board, Commission, and Committee members must be electors of and actually reside in the City. No person shall serve on more than one Board, Commission or Committee at the same time.
