Applications are being accepted through November 14, 2003 by the Burbank City Council for openings on the Magnolia Park Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The Committee meets on the third Thursday of each month, as needed, at 6:00 p.m.

The Committee, comprised of merchant and residential representatives, provides a strategy to revitalize the Magnolia Park business area, and to continue to foster development in accordance with the neighborhood protection plan for the surrounding residential area. The Committee is active in expanding projects that improve and enhance the master plan for the Magnolia Park area and the Magnolia Park Streetscape Project.

The City Council will appoint six members to represent the Magnolia Park business community and five members who are residents of the Magnolia Park area. Applicants must indicate on the application form either Magnolia Park CAC – Business Representative or Magnolia Park CAC – Resident.

Committee members serve without compensation (BMC Section 2-405).
