Burbank City Council Seeks Applicants for Vacancies
on Magnolia Park Community Advisory Committee

            Applications are being accepted through June 16, 2006 by the Burbank City Council for openings on the Magnolia Park Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month, as needed, at 6:00 p.m.

The Committee, comprised of merchant and residential representatives, provides a strategy to revitalize the Magnolia Park business area, and to continue to foster development in accordance with the neighborhood protection plan for the surrounding residential area.

The City Council will appoint members to represent the Magnolia Park business community and residents.  Applicants must indicate on the application form that they are applying as either a Magnolia Park CAC – Resident Representative or Magnolia Park CAC – Business Representative.  Business Representatives may be property owners or business owners.

Interested individuals can pick up an application at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue .  Application forms are also available on the City’s Website, www.BurbankUSA.com.  The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is Friday, June 16, 2006 at 5:00 pm .

Committee members serve without compensation  (BMC Section 2-405).
