Applications Sought for Burbank’s
Metropolitan Water District Director

Applications are being accepted through November 27, 2002 by the Burbank City Council for one four-year term for Metropolitan Water District Director, from January 1, 2003 through January 1, 2007.

As one of the 27 agency members of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Burbank has one Director appointed by the City Council. The Board meets every second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the District’s Headquarters in Los Angeles.

Interested persons can pick up an application at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is November 27, 2002, at 5:00 p.m., with the appointment scheduled to be made at the December 17, 2002 City Council meeting.

All City Board, Commission, and Committee members must be electors of and actually reside in the City. No person shall serve on more than one Board, Commission or Committee at the same time.
