CHARTER REVIEW COMMITEE

Applications are still being accepted by the Burbank City Council until Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. for appointment to a Charter Review Committee. It is anticipated that the Committee will have 11 members who will meet as often as necessary to complete a review of the City of Burbank Charter and make specific recommendations for changes.  Any changes to the City's Charter must be placed before the voters of Burbank.  This is an opportunity to participate in affecting changes to your City government as well as serve your City.

Interested individuals can pick up an application at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue or at the City's Web Site, www.ci.burbank.ca.us. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.

All City Board, Commission, and Committee members serve without compensation from the City (BMC Section 2-405) and must be electors of and actually reside in the City.
