On July 13, 2005 , a Federal Search Warrant was served at the residence of Burbank City Councilmember, Stacey Jo Murphy F-47, by members of the Vineland Boys Task Force, including LAPD, ATF, IRS, DEA/HIDTA, and the Glendale and Burbank Police Departments. Stacey Jo Murphy was arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Child Endangerment. She was booked at the Burbank Police Jail, in lieu of $100,000 bail.

On August 23, 2005 the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office filed criminal charges against Stacey Jo Murphy. One felony count of 11350 (a) H&S (possession of a controlled substance), and one misdemeanor count of 273 a (b)  PC (child endangering), were filed. Ms. Murphy is due to be arraigned in Pasadena Superior Court, Department H, on August 25, 2005 , at 8:30 AM .
