Burbank City Council Seeks Applicants for Vacancy The application period is being extended through June 28, 2002 by the Burbank City Council for vacancies on the Community Development Goals Committee, for two four-year terms ending on June 1, 2006, and one unexpired term ending June 1, 2004. The Committee has nine members in total who meet on call. The Committee functions as liaison between the Community Development Department and Burbank residents on matters relevant to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Interested persons can pick up an application at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is June 28, 2002, 5:00 p.m., with the appointment scheduled to be made at the July 9, 2002 City Council meeting. All City Board, Commission, and Committee members serve without compensation (BMC Section 2-405) and must be electors of and actually reside in the City. No person shall serve on more than one Board, Commission or Committee at the same time. # # # |
