Burbank City Council Seeks Applicants
Applications are being accepted through October 30, 2001 by the Burbank City Council for one vacancy of an unexpired term for Commissioner of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, ending on June 1, 2005. The vacancy is for one of the three Commissioners appointed to four-year terms by the City of Burbank to serve on the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority. The Authority meets the first and third Mondays of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Airport. Interested persons can pick up an application at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue. The deadline for submitting an application to the City Clerk is October 30, 2001, at 5:00 p.m., with the appointment scheduled to be made at the November 6, 2001 City Council meeting. Applicants should be prepared to present a statement to the City Council at that meeting and answer any questions the Council may have. All City Board, Commission, and Committee members must be electors of and actually reside in the City. No person shall serve on more than one Board, Commission or Committee at the same time. # # #
