Airport Authority Documents

The Airport Authority today posted the following information and documents on their website:  www.burbankairport.com.  We post it here (in the shaded area below) for the convenience of our residents. 

This proposed agreement will be the topic of a Town Hall Forum that the Burbank City Council is holding on Wednesday, January 12 at Buena Vista Library, 300 N. Buena Vista St.  In addition, the City Council will hold a public hearing at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 18, to consider adoption of the proposed agreement and related actions.  The Council will release its own staff report on this matter prior to their January 18 meeting.

PROPOSED AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF BURBANK

     The Airport Authority and the City of Burbank are currently negotiating an agreement aimed at charting a course for airport facilities and nighttime noise abatement efforts.  There has been an extensive public process since the summer of 2004. See links below for more information.

Note:  The
Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority approved interrelated documents January 3, 2005 governing the escrow, easements and use restrictions that would apply to the B-6 Trust Property and the B-6 Adjacent Property if the Burbank City Council adopts the proposed  Development Agreement with the Airport Authority.

These documents have now been sent to the Burbank City Council as it considers the overall Development Agreement. Please consult the City of Burbank website for more information about the Council’s review and approval process for the proposed Agreement.
