The City of Burbank will be conducting a Primary
Nominating Election on February 22, 2005 and a General Municipal Election on
April 12, 2005. The elections will be conducted by mail ballot and will seek
to fill: Three (3) Council Member seats; Two (2) Member of the Board of
Education seats; One (1) City Clerk seat; and, One (1) City Treasurer seat.
The requirements for candidates for elective
offices of the City are as follows: a United States citizen; at least 18 years
of age; a resident of the City of Burbank for at least 29 days prior to filing
Nomination Papers; and, registered to vote in the City of Burbank at the time
of nomination.
Qualifying individuals may pick up Nomination
Papers at the City Clerk's Office at 275 East Olive Avenue during the
Nominating Period,
Monday, November 1, 2004
at 8:00 a.m. through Monday, November 29, 2004 at 5:00 p.m.
