Notice of Intent to Adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration
Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority
Baggage Inspection / Make-Up Facility

The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority (Authority) proposes to develop a baggage inspection / make-up facility at Bob Hope Airport (Airport). The proposed project includes the development of a 6,500-square-foot baggage inspection / make - up facility south of the existing Terminal B to process all outbound baggage for airlines operating in Terminal B.

Pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an Initial Study has been prepared for this proposed project.  The results of the Initial Study indicate that there would not be any significant adverse impacts because the Authority has agreed to implement appropriate mitigation measures.  The Authority will be accepting comments on the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration from 21 December 2007 through 21 January 2008.
