2.         DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS IN THE CUSTODY OF THE SECRETARY OF THE YOUTH ENDOWMENT SERVICES FUND BOARD:

Staff is requesting Youth Endowment Services Fund (YES) Board approval of a resolution that would authorize the destruction of specific records. In compliance with the YES Board Records Retention Schedule, these records are over two years old and are no longer needed. 

California Government Code Section 34090 provides for the annual destruction of municipal records that are no longer needed, if: they are at least two years old; the City Attorney consents to their destruction; and, the YES Board approves.

The Secretary of the YES Board and the City Attorney have reviewed this listing and consented to destruction in accordance with California Government Code Section 34090.
