The City owned Burbank Recycle Center (BRC) is a private/public partnership with Burbank Recycling, Inc., a privately-owned, Southern California based company specializing in the processing and marketing of recyclable materials. The current Recycle Center opened in October 1992 and includes a Materials Recovery Facility, Buyback/Dropoff, Used Oil Center, Universal Waste Dropoff, Compost Corner, and Learning Center.
